Stewardship and minimizing our environmental footprint are guiding principles of the Chief Whitecap Waterway.
Our campsites are designed with long life components, the fire pits and picnic table are steel construction, finished to ensure minimum impact. We encourage all users of the trail to take their refuse with them, and wherever possible use recyclable containers. We would like to ensure the blue water trail remains pristine for future generations to enjoy.
Interaction with the flora and fauna should be respectful, and we wish to encourage a strong environmental ethic. We are borrowing the Waterway from our grandchildren, let us return it as we found it.
